Our Monthly Adoration will take place on March 3rd.
Come visit Jesus here at St. Denis Church on the first Friday of every month beginning after morning Mass with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 9:30 am and ending with Evening Prayer and Benediction at 4:30 pm. Sign-up sheets are at the rear of the church. Please, come and spend time with our Lord.

Lent begins on March 1st, with the celebration of Ash Wednesday. Ashes will be distributed during Mass at 6:30 am, 9:00 am, & 7:30 pm and at a Service of the Word at 4:45 pm.


Soup to Stations: Join us for our Lenten tradition, a sharing table pot luck meal of soup (no meat soups please) with salad and breads at 6 pm in the Parish Center, then to St. Denis Church to pray the Stations of the Cross at 7:30. We will meet every Friday in Lent including Good Friday. For more information call Eileen Gruszecki 724-4501 or Cathi Deleon 471-1433. Children are very welcome!

Parish Events

Women of Grace Mornings of Prayer
Inviting all women to come together on Monday Mornings during the month of February for an informal hour of prayer. This is taking place in the parish center immediately following the 9:00 Mass on Monday Feb 27. You are invited to the Women of Grace monthly meeting, where women gather to praise God and share their lives in Christ. February 28th at 7:00 pm in the rectory meeting room. Come, join us to discuss "Resisting Happiness" and our spiritual plans for Lent. Come and see what the Lord is doing in a new way through and for the women of St. Denis.
Isaiah 43:19 "See, I am doing something new! Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?"

Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry consists of two groups. One meets every Saturday morning in the church beginning at 7am. The Rosary is prayed and then other forms of prayer, worship and song are offered before our Lord, present to us in the tabernacle. At 8am we go downstairs for refreshments and a presentation/discussion.
The second group meets on the first Thurs. of the month in the rectory from 7-9pm. We have a discussion on the upcoming Sunday's readings and then have a discussion on a variety of topics. Both groups are open to all men. Please jpin us and bring a friend. Men of other faiths and parishes are also welcome.

Tastes of Heaven
Please contact the Religious Education office at 227-3949 if you are interested in becoming an advertising sponsor for our Tastes of Heaven event or if you wish to donate an item for our raffle table. The Tastes of Heaven event will be held at St. Denis on April 26, 6:30-8:30pm. Tickets will be on sale soon.

    Steubenville Youth Conference
    Any teen graduating 8th grade this Spring or currently in High School is invited to attend the Steubenville Youth Conference July 21-23 at St John's University, Queens, NY. The cost is $270 per teen (we fundraise to cover most of the cost). A $50 deposit required to register The Theme is Elevate: Revelation 21:5 says, "Behold, I make all things new." Join us in this conference as we experience God's love in a new way, as he continually tries to elevate our lives, to overcome fear, anxiety, and doubt. Let Him do this for you. The weekend includes talks by Catholic speakers, prayer, music and the sacraments. Check out the Steubenville Youth Conference website to see what it's all about.
